Registration for a course
Please register at least 5 days before every course (except the meditation evenings and stupa-weekends), to enable us to shop for sufficient food during the course. You will then receive a confirmation with information regarding payment, and if needed, extra practical information on the course. Please note that the module-tariff is only valid for members and with a permission to transfer your money automatically (automatische incasso).

Please tell us when registering if you wish to stay in a (double) room*, caravan* or in a dormitory. We only have a limited number of rooms and caravans, so people are assigned to rooms by e.g. medical need, date of registration and availablity, so we cannot guarantee your place of choice beforehand.

Payments
Please transfer the money at least 5 days before the course starts. In case this is impossible, you can pay in cash or with 'pinpas' in our shop in Emst. The bank account number for all courses, poedjas and donations is 6901668. Please always write what the payment is for.

Cancellation and restitution

If you use the module-tariff, you cannot receive a restitution due to illness or other absence. In all other cases, it is possible to receive a restitution if you cancel your visit before the activity starts.

In case you have allowed an 'automatische incasso' but the money cannot be transferred (e.g. because of a too low balance), then you need to pay yourself within a week after the activity, with an extra € 10,- for administration fees, otherwise we are forced to cancel the reduced module-tariff for you, and you will need to pay the full fees in future.

When you cancel more then 2 days before the activity (usually Wednesday 16.00), we charge € 10,- cancellation fees. When you cancel less then 2 days before the start, we have to charge you 50% of the fees. After the activity has begun, it is impossible to cancel or restitution of fees.

The cancellation fees will be deducted from your restitution. In case we have not received your payent, we will send you a bill.

If you wish to cancel the 'automatische incasso' for the module-tariff (Basic Program and Masters Program), you will need to do this at least one month before the next course weekend.

Course fees

The Dharma is free. There are however many expenses necessary in order to organise courses such as salaries, gas, water, electricity, maintenance, taxes and so forth. This is why a modest contribution is necessary to ensure the continuation of the activities. There is no intention to make a profit, and actually there are hardly any reserves for maintenance, (building) replacement and unforseen expenses. As most of the work is done by volunteers and students, we are able to keep the fees low.

For everyone who wishes to join a weekend to get some inspiration.

Module-tariff
The Module-tariff is intended exclusively for members who accept to pay via automatic transfer (automatische incasso). This tariff gives a significant discount for courses that consist of several weekends. You will also be able to download the mp3-recordings of the teachings, if possible the transcripts, and extra course material as pdf files via this website. We cannot give extra discounts to the module-tariff, whichever type of member you are.

One single day of a weekend course
Costs: 50% of the standard course fee (without extra discounts).

Fees for children
0-6 years: free
6-12 years: 25% of the parent's fees
12-16 years: 50% of the parent's fees
16 and older: normal fee

Home study
In this case, you receive online access to the mp3-recordings of the teachings and you will also be able to download the mp3-recordings of the teachings, if possible the transcripts, and extra course material as pdf files via this website.
Costs: 33% of the normal fees, or 33% of the module-tariff (if you are a member and accept 'automatische incasso' of the course fees.

Study fund
We do our utmost to keep our course-fees as low as possible, but for some it may prove not feasible to join. These people can request the study fund for help. This fund is sponsored by financial stronger students of Maitreya Instituut Emst. You will need to have a personal and confidential talk with the director.
